t home what awakens you every morning? Surely not the calving of ice into the sea. Or was that a humpback whale breaching? Sleeping in the middle of glorious Glacier Bay is a luxury available with our cruise line. Glacier Bay National Park is the eighth wonder of the world—we want to spend as much time here as possible.

Spend the bulk of your high adventure activity cruise exploring beautiful Glacier Bay under your own power—in a sea kayak. Each kayaking day begins with a bracing hot breakfast before you paddle off into the sunrise with your guide. Push bobbing ice away from your craft as you glide through the crystal waters searching for wildlife along the shore. Keep an eye out for brown bear or moose. Or, kayak to the glaciers and watch ice calve into the sea. Return to your vessel, the MV Wilderness Explorer, where a hot meal and good company await. As you slumber, your vessel whisks you away to another dramatic landscape where you wake up ready to take on a new kayaking adventure.

For on-land excursions, our guides lead you to a hiking haven in Icy Strait. This wilderness is an oasis of old growth spruce and western hemlock. Your wilderness guide teaches you about the wildlife who inhabit this area, and how best to track and spot them.

Arrive in Juneau independently, then meet for your flight to Glacier Bay. Once you're settled at Glacier Bay Lodge, explore the surrounding area. Do you want to see bears feeding along the shoreline? Or hear whales singing? Your kayak guide can point you in the best direction for prime wildlife viewing. BLD

Spend your day exploring with your guide by sea kayak or hiking ashore. On either side of this pristine waterway are tiny inlets and isolated coves perfect for your backcountry, off-vessel exploration. Plus, Icy Strait is a prime spot for humpback whale viewing. BLD

JUNEAU & RETURN HOME

This morning, your active adventure cruise comes to an end. Disembark your vessel in Glacier Bay in time for your return flight to Juneau. B

Enjoy an early morning breakfast on your own. Rent a bicycle or perhaps take a flight-seeing trip to the glaciers. The Lodge staff have all the details to make sure you won't miss a thing. Overnight at Lodge.

Another day to discover the Lodge and Glacier Bay National Park. Stop by the front desk and learn about your options. Overnight at Lodge.

PADDLE TO YOUR VESSEL

Ready for adventure? This is a truly special expedition day. Early this morning your luggage is transferred to the vessel. Weather permitting, we meet as a group and go through kayak orientation at the Lodge. Let the journey begin as you and your guides paddle to meet your ship in the bay! This trip is at your own pace. Board the vessel to find your luggage in your stateroom and a hot meal waiting. D

Your Captain and crew are experts on secret, out-of-the-way places that offer adventure and discovery. Today, they guide your kayaking party to see some of nature's finest and most beautiful work. BLD

Spend your day exploring this whale paradise by sea kayak, beachcombing, or hiking in a forest of old growth spruce and western hemlock. BLD

JUNEAU & RETURN HOME

This morning, your active adventure cruise comes to an end. Disembark your vessel in Glacier Bay in time for your return flight to Juneau. B
