Day 1EMBARK IN KETCHIKAN

Independent arrival to the vessel. Get acquainted with your fellow adventurers during the evening sailaway. Optional pre-cruise hotels are available, ask your Adventure Coordinator for more details. D

Day 2METLAKATLA PORT CALL,
MISTY FJORDS

In the morning we visit Metlakatla, an independent, sovereign nation founded by Tsimshian Indians. Then we glide through Misty Fjords. BLD

Day 3WRANGELL PORT CALL

Visit the fascinating town of Wrangell. Observe ancient petroglyphs visible in the sandy shores. BLD

Day 4CRUISE, KAYAK OR HIKE
ADMIRALTY ISLAND

Captains choice today as you explore the largest concentration of brown bear in Alaska. Later we cruise Tracy Arm for more up-close views of glaciers. BLD

Day 5ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES, CHICHAGOF AND BARANOF ISLANDS

Enjoy scenic cruising and explore this secluded area by kayak, shore walk or landing craft. BLD

Day 6CRUISE GLACIER BAYS WEST ARM

This morning awaken in Glacier Bay, crowning jewel of our National Park Service and home to our Tlingit ancestors. Cruise the Bay with a Park Service Ranger. BLD

Day 7HOONAH PORT CALL, POINT ADOLPHUS AND ICY STRAIT

Port call in the village of Hoonah, home to the Tlingit people since pre-history. Cruise Pt. Adolphus, for up-close views of humpback whales. Later, adventure activities. BLD

Day 8SHIP DISEMBARKATION, RAFT TRIP

After breakfast, set out to one of Juneaus premier excursions: the Auk Ta Shaa Raft trip. Afterwards, your included transfer brings you to the airport or downtown hotel. Your Adventure Coordinator has more information on post-hotel packages in Juneau. B

OVERNIGHT JUNEAU

After your morning disembarkation, your postcruise package begins conveniently at Juneaus Goldbelt Hotel. You have plenty of time to linger in Alaskas picturesque capital. Weve included tickets on the Mt. Roberts Tram for a scenic adventure that allows you to experience the panorama of the Inside Passage from 1,800 feet above the city. This evening explore Juneaus nightlife and eclectic blend of restaurants. Overnight Juneau. B

Day 2FERRY TO THE LODGE,
WHALE WATCH

This is VIP treatment at its finest as you sail from Juneaus vibrant waterfront directly to our Lodge in Glacier Bay National Park.After a quick stop, its on to Icy Strait, the summer feeding grounds of the humpback whale and one of the best places in Alaska to see these giants in their natural habitat. Return to the Lodge late afternoon. Overnight at the Lodge. S

Day 3GLACIER SIGHTSEEING IN THE PARK

Most people tell us they want more glaciers, and more is what you get as we bring you up bay in the only daily scheduled sightseeing tour boat operating in the remote marine park. Late afternoon arrive back at the Lodge with time to explore further on your own. Overnight at the Lodge. S

Day 4RETURN TO JUNEAU VIA AIR,
TOUR END

After a leisurely morning on your own, return to Juneau via air. Our Adventure Coordinators will work with you to arrange the most convenient transportation option back to Juneaus airport and tours end.

Prices are U.S. dollars, per person, based on double occupancy of cabin category selected and include: services as outlined; all meals on board ship; port charges and taxes. Prices do not include: tips to ship or shore personnel, liquor, items of a personal nature or airfare. Triple rates upon request. Embarkation Transfers: A complimentary airport transfer for embarkation is provided only when air travel is purchased through Glacier Bay Cruiseline. For independent air arrivals, transfers may be purchased for the day of embarkation only. Transfers are $17.50 per person and must be purchased 30 days in advance of travel date and exact flight schedule must be available in order to purchase transfer. Disembarkation Transfers: A complimentary disembarkation transfer to the airport is provided on day of disembarkation only as part of the cruise price. Independent Air: Guests are welcome to purchase their own air arrangements; however flights must arrive prior to 1:00 p.m. on day of embarkation and cannot depart prior to noon on day of disembarkation.
