Brian McKiernan Joins Glacier Bay Cruiseline as Director of National Accounts & Business Development

Glacier Bay Cruiseline's CEO, Greg Dronkert, welcomed Brian McKiernan as Director of National Accounts, a newly-created position for the cruise line. McKiernan will be in charge of all new business development programs for the Line, as well as charged with expanding their successful National Accounts program.

Brian McKiernan has been involved in the travel industry for over 19 years, holding management positions with Singapore Airlines, Reno Air and Alaska Airlines. He held various positions with Alaska Airlines in sales and marketing throughout their expansion years in the 1980's and mid 90's and later at their corporate office in tour and leisure marketing, focused primarily on Mexico and Southeast Alaska. He was recently co-owner and managing director for Hurricane Communications, a public relations firm in the Seattle area, specializing in the tourism and hospitality industry. Majoring in communications and commercial art, Brian attended the University of Washington. He and his wife Pamela, their daughter and son, live southeast of Seattle.
